Good Day everyone! Mark here in the captain’s chair today with some great articles for you to check out today when you have a few minutes.
January 1, 2018 is a big day for California and all of you pot loving friends. But, there seems to be an issue with all the legalities in San Francisco. They can’t come to terms with some legal issues, so if you’re thinking of traveling to SF for Medical or Recreational marijuana it might be a wasted trip. Just a heads up.
Over Four Hundred and Fifty Million was the magic number. That’s right $450,000,000.00+ was the price tag for a Leonardo da Vinci painting at an auction at Christie’s AUction House in New York. Imagine paying that much for a painting? I wish I could afford something like that, but then what would I do with it? How about you? Would you trust that in your living room or other room in your home? I think I would want armed guards around the clock. I guess you could always get insurance against theft or damage, but if it was stolen or damaged what good is getting the money when it’s all about the art.
We also found a place where people age not only well, but for a very long time. Some of the residents have defied death according to some living to over 100 years of age. Maybe it’s time to move. Then there’s a possible new home scientists have found in the universe. It’s only a few million light years away. A walk in the park for some I guess?
This week on the podcast I talked about listening and offered some tips on how to get better at it. It’s a lost skill as far as I am concerned, especially by these motivational speakers that are out there. They enjoy hearing themselves and not the voices of their audience. That’s something I believe is needed out there. What are your thoughts?
