Hi Friends!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Make sure you’re wearing something green so you don’t get pinched although Italians pinch for fun.
When getting this newsletter together, we never know what we’re going to find that touches a personal place in our hearts. There is always a story we think deserves a personal touch and today is no exception.
  • The final story today is about quahogs. Have you ever heard of them? It’s a Rhode Island thing, but a guy from Warren RI brought this huge clam to San Diego in a considerable way. Check it out!
I lived and worked in RI for years when I was in college and afterward. I loved RI, the people, the food, and just the atmosphere in the state. People are friendly even though I have heard that people think they’re not. While we get to go to the ocean here after a 3-hour ride, in RI, you’re never more than 30 minutes from the ocean. Being the smallest state does have advantages.
  • Women in Hollywood tells the inside story of how women built Hollywood. We liked it and thought you would also?
  • Wondering what it’s like to live in a hotel after losing your home? Not only do we have the story, but it’s a story with pictures showing what it’s like.
  • The drought may be over or let’s hope so. It seems the experts agree right now that we’re looking good for this year to be bountiful of crops and water. Keep your fingers crossed!
There’s more as always, and we’ll let you get to reading and enjoying with your favorite beverage and snack.
Be Well,
Mark & Patti
