A funny thing happened on the way to getting this newsletter together for today. There wasn’t enough news fit to post today. It seems there was a bunch of news stories about a report of some kind that we decided long ago not to cover.
With that stated, we have a shortened newsletter today as far as stories go. I do have something important I want to address though before we let you get into reading the newsletter.
Years ago when I was running my investment banking business in New York, I was always looking for ways to motivate my brokers by either holding seminars in house or sending them out to workshops with some famous motivational speakers like John Rohn, Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins, and others.
I found that after about eight weeks or more my brokers were losing their motivation. After speaking with others in business, they were dealing with the same thing. Once away from the source for some time, the motivation was lost.
All of this came down to DNA. We are not built the same way as Tony Robbins and others so how can we expect their system to work for us. It doesn’t.
Over the course of a few months, I worked on a workbook/discussion program to start with my brokers. It worked. It helped them use the tools they learned from others, but apply them to their way of doing things.
Back then it was called Dynamic Life Management. It’s now called A Dynamic Life. The basics are helping you find your way of motivating yourself without the need of others.
Over the years I taught this system to other sales professionals. I taught it to Doctors, Nurses, and other medical professionals. I even taught it in a Federal Prison with the help of a friend who is a Psychiatrist for them. We used the system as a life skill class and also a lesson for replacing the 12-Step-Program. It was very successful.
I’m now thinking of starting up the course once again through a newsletter. This course will be free for anyone that signs up from this newsletter. I don’t know if I’ll ever charge, but if that time comes anyone who signs up from here would always be able to take the class for free.
