Good Evening Friends!
Here we are in the last week of August, school has started and the last holiday weekend of the summer is near, now what?
Even though summer is almost over and fall is right on its heels, the heatwave isn’t subsiding and who knows when it will end? We know the weather guys don’t.
You can tell the heat is affecting people when you read about a brawl at a Northern California water park between 40 people over a towel. You can read more about that battle below. The heat brings out the fight in many.
Valley fever is back in the news, along with the West Nile virus. We decided to cover one of those for tonight’s edition. How much bad news can one take? Valley Fever was the pick for tonight. We’ll keep West Nile for another evening.
Here are a few more stories you may or may not like.
  • Donkey freed from island after two years
  • Freight trains could warn us about earthquakes
  • I-5 deadliest highway
  • Medical Cannabis on K-12 Campuses
Enjoy the read this evening, and we will see you on Thursday!
Be Well,
Mark & Patti
