Good Evening Friends!
It looks like more people are jumping on the bandwagon for saving the planet by banning straws in LA and San Francisco ( in Foodies, Recipes, & Eateries) among a few cities and O'Neill Surfing ( in The Coast) rolls out a new system for getting rid of plastic bottles.
  • Valley fever is on the rise, and UCSF researchers are working to find out how the fungus works.
  • Fabio gives a fantastic recipe for steak with a pesto sauce. Looks amazing. I’ll be trying it soon. Let us know if you try it!
  • Plus, there’s more to the food section than just Fabio, so make sure to check it out this evening.
  • Check this out in The Coast section also: Put Your Feet on the Ground Where a Dam Once Stood
  • Thousands of California seniors are ‘one disaster away’ from homelessness in The Rest
  • California’s Saltiest Lake happens to be in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and the story is in The Rest this evening.
  • Finally, Monterey Rocks #16…John Lee Hooker and son.
Enjoy your read this evening and we’ll see you on Sunday
Be Well,
Mark & Patti
