Good Evening Friends!
Here we are. The last week of October and Halloween days away! Before you know it, Christmas will be here! Sorry, I didn’t mean to remind you yet!
Do you have special traditions during the holidays? Traditions as in food choices or gift-giving?
We have the traditional food choices like turkey and ham for Thanksgiving and a turkey and a roast for Christmas.
But, on Christmas Eve, Patti and the kids indulge my tradition from when I was a kid of the Sicilian Feast of the 7 Fishes. Italians from all over Italy and the islands, like Sicily, celebrate this tradition, not just Sicily.
It’s the one food tradition that I enjoy once a year. I’ll be writing more about it as we get closer. You might even want to try it this year or next?
Here’s a partial list of tonight’s stories
- Black Culture & Black Students
- Brewing Up California’s Coffee Scene
- Sean Conroy Was Pro Baseball’s First Gay Active Player
- …and then there was Mishegoss: “Octopus’s Garden”
Be Well and enjoy the your read. See you on Thursday!
