Good Evening Friends!
It’s Tuesday, September 18th.
Hi All,
Mark here. I wanted to take a minute of your time to tell you a little story and also ask for your help. I’m not going to ask for money, don’t worry nor for you to buy me a cup of coffee.
While Patti and I work on the contents of this newsletter together it is totally my fault for not being better at social media and getting followers, so that’s why this note is from me.
This newsletter started almost two years ago on October 24th. While I can’t believe it’s been two years I’m reminded often by our follower count.
When we started, we had 3. That’s right 3. I didn’t start this newsletter with a mailing list which is the wrong way to start any newsletter. I never believe in going by the rules.
We are now at 30. While that isn’t a huge amount, it’s where we are now. The goal of any newsletter is followers. Most newsletters want followers for advertisers, selling something, or collecting on clicks. We don’t care about that. We want followers.
With that in mind, I am asking for all of our readers to think about your friends and enemies (if you think this newsletter would bother them) that may enjoy getting our newsletter and share it with them. The hope is we will gain more followers who will appreciate our newsletter.
My guess is you know your friends, family, and enemies better than I do so if you share this newsletter with them we have a better chance at new subscribers.
We (Patti and I) can’t give you much more than a thank you, but I promise it will be the best thank you you’ve ever received.
Thanks for reading and taking the time to enjoy the newsletter.
We have some great stuff in here today, especially the story about a man saved after a shark attack by a pod of dolphins. Check it out.
Be Well,
Mark & Patti
