Good Evening Friends!
Before you get into tonight’s newsletter, we would like to apologize to many of you after posting a story that upset some readers. It wasn’t our intention to do so, and we have never tried to start controversy with this newsletter. We only want to start meaningful and important conversations.
Below there is a short, but important letter for you to check out at your leisure title. We Make Mistakes! We hope you’ll take a second to read it and know we are sorry for our lapse in thinking. We will work to do better!
Now on with the newsletter:
  • Do you ever wonder what inspired the creation of Taco Bell? I’m not a fan of Taco Bell, but where it all started was pretty interesting, and we have it below.
  • School is starting, and many kids and young adults are going to have to learn distance learning. Some with their parents and some with their grandparents, like Patti and I do. It’s an all-new reality we are facing.
  • Did you enjoy your 4th? I know we asked this the other day, but now after reading all of the horror stories of illegal firework shows going awry, we thought we’d ask again. Fire after fire ravaged this state and many others on the night of the 4th.
  • The movie The Goonies is 35-years-old. It was filmed at the Burbank Studios. We have a story about the movie and the studio it was filmed at.
That should get you going. There’s more, of course, and we’ll let you get to it.
Thanks for reading and supporting us. Without you, this newsletter wouldn’t live.
Be Well! Stay Healthy! Stay Safe! We’ll see you on Thursday!
Mark & Patti

We Make Mistakes!
We’d like to take a moment to address an issue if you don’t mind? The other day we posted a story that some people took offense to. We understand that and that’s one of the things that happens about running a newsletter where you don’t post your own opinion.
It doesn’t mean we support or don’t support a story. We post stories that fit the description as close to mishegoss as possible, good or bad.
The bottom line is we pick stories that are important. We don’t choose our stories based on our feelings. We pick stories that need to be posted for you to read and make your own decisions. Then you can talk about them all you want.

P.S. We rely on word of mouth when it comes to building our reader base. With your help we can do that. If you’re enjoying this newsletter please consider passing it along to others. Thanks!
